| How come we have so many political topics?
Is it me ?? It seems like we have so many! Not that I'm not interested in politics, but it seems that those posts are like religion posts....ya know?

what's funny to me is that as soon as someone on some thread says this site is "too boring" or "not interesting enough", we start getting political or religious threads. Is it simply to heat up the kitchen? As long as we can all respect each other, I think it's great

I'm sorry, I'm kind of a political junky. With the big election coming up next year and the primaries just about to start, I figured folks would be interested in a little debating and there is nothing in this world (other than my wife and golf) that I love more than a great debate. Plus I wanted to see if we needed a board dedicated to election race or if it should just be another friendly topic here in the cafe.

My town is finally getting to know me.When I renewed my drivers license they asked me if I wanted to register to vote.I said "thats ok".Then she said,but its FREE!  Well, ofcourse I'll sign up if its FREE!  Now, to figure what a republican,democrat,and mormon and all that is so I can figure out who to vote for. |
