My dad is on life support in the ICU - 24 hours prior to this, he had sung 2 solos at a service for a relative. He was so healthy-seeming at the service. Now he's battling a serious blood infection, which has just come ot light, and feels as though it came out of nowhere. Needless to say, we are shocked and scared of losing him suddenly.

If you are a person who prays, please pray for him and my mom.

You are a big and great group - I know the power of prayers, and would welcome these from any of you who want to do so. If you prefer positive thoughts, I would be very grateful for those, too.

My dad is still hanging in there, some bad news today (kidneys and liver damage that have come to light - attributed to the blood infection), but some good news (blood pressure improving).

It made me feel so taken care of to see all your answers Yes, I have my life and friends in my community, but there is nothing like this group right here for support. I appreciate every one of these wishes and prayers. And so does my dad. Thank you.
