So yesterday I had an appointment to have my hair done. I do this every 4 weeks.

Well I got a bug up my butt and decided I wanted a change. Oh boy did I change, so much so when I walk by the mirror I'm like whoa! I can only imagine what my family thought.

I have had blondish brown long hair all my life. Well with winter coming up I decided I wanted it darker and shorter. So I went from light haired to a milk chocolate brown color above the shoulder cut. I love the cut and I like the color though it is suprising when I look in the mirror. I'm like a teenage girl I go in the bathroom every 5 mins and look at it and brush it and kinda fluff it lol. But darn when I got up this morning I got a glimpse of myself and I thought Holy s*** look at me lol.

My DH bless his heart I walked in from the hair dresser and he looks at me and said the samething he always does. Your hair looks good. I thought for sure he would atleast be suprised. Nope he didn't miss a beat. Me if it was him I'd be like Whoa you changed your hair or What did you do?

It sounds like a nice change! We all need that every once in awhile...from the smallest thing like changing the flavor of your toothpaste to taking a new route to work...I'm happy you like it! ~Lisa

Boy that is a bug I wish I could get up my butt. I've had long hair for many years and now I'm just tired of it. I love the color but I need a "style". I'm just not sure who to trust to do it and chicken out everytime I think about it.

I went with a drastic change last February for my birthday. I donated 16 inches to locks of love and went from mousy blonde/brown to short hair with red and bleach blonde streaks. I felt like a different person!

I want another change, but I think I'm going to make that my February thing and donate my hair to Locks every February if it's long enough.

Your brave....I have had the same hair style for about eight years. Its highlighted and layred and is a few inches below my shoulders. I am really getting tired of the same style. My big problem is that it took me forever to grow it out after having it very short for years. So, now I am too chicken to cut it short again.....
