| My little girl got some good news today!
About two weeks ago, I saw a contest online, sponsored by one of our radio stations. It was for the Bee Movie. You had to draw and color a bee of your own design - freehand, not a coloring picture - and send it to the radio station. The grand prize winner would win 10 tickets to the movie, along with concession cash good for 10 popcorns and 10 sodas as well. Imagine my surprise today when I got a phone call this morning, with someone asking for my DD! I said, Um, no, she's not here... Can I help you with something? I'm her mother, she's at school right now. And then the woman told me what she was calling for, which was to say that DD won the contest!!   So the big night is this Friday. I actually asked the woman if she could call back this afternoon to tell DD herself, when she got home from school. Needless to say, that call really caught her off guard! I just had to share.... I knew DD was very creative and artistic, but I am truly surprised she won - she's only 7! Thanks for reading, Suzanne
