It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown airs tonite 10/30 on ABC

This cartoon is classic. First aired in 1966! I watched it when I was a kid.
Great for getting into the spirit of Halloween and trick or treating.

Check your listing for time it airs in your area.

We're usually pretty strict on the kids bedtime, but, we let them stay up a 1/2 hour for this one. Its fun to watch a classic with your kids.

I do like it, but am I the only one who finds Charlie Brown to be a whiney poor sport?

I LOVE Charlie Brown, Years past I have always MADE my kids watch the Great Pumpkin, but they HATE Charlie Brown, they said he's boring & they dont get it... This year they ALL knew it was comming on but me & all laughed when I found out too late to tape or make them watch. Same with Frosty the snowman, greta show for me growing up, but they act like there in pain when they watch it.

Our family loved the Charlie Brown trilogy of holiday shows: It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and A Charlie Brown Christmas. We bought the boxed set a long time ago, and we watch them together.

I remember when the boys were little, I'd tell them about how my mom would fix hot chocolate, or holiday cookies when the show came on - and I told them back then, we didn't have VCR's or DVD players. We had to watch it the one night it was on, and be happy with it. They thought that was horrible, not having it on DVD to watch over and over and over whenever you wanted.

no no after listening to them fight since the moment they got out of school and into the same house, bedtime is bedtime. if it was something they may never see again in their lifetime that might pass the rule. I just heard the "he touched my food" enough tonight and gave the one all my dinner cause my goodness the earth was going to go out of rotation cause his plate didnt look exactly as he pictured it
