Need Help! broke borrowed toy! Need to replace

I need your help, I borrowed a friends kids pink and purple microphone headset for a halloween costume and it accidently got broke. I will let her know it happened but I would also like to replace it, but cant seem to find it anywhere. There is no name on it. It is pink and purple and has the microphone mouth piece that comes around the side of your faces so you can talk into it. It does take batteries and on the battery box it has 2 pink music notes and the numbers 050805su1. I would be willing to buy it new if I knew where it came from or if someone has one laying around they want to get rid of. (it doesnt have to work) Please email me with any info.
THANKS!!! (If anyone can figure this out I know you ladies can)

That is too bad!

If I were you, I wouldn't spend anymore time looking to replace it - I think I'd go to "Toys R Us" or "K.B. Toys" or "Libby Lu" (or even Target), and just PRICE something similar.

Then round up the $$ amount slightly, and get a gift card in that amount to give them. For all you know, this item is something that they're already done enjoying, and they might like to get something new with the money. In any event, they'll be touched that you thought enough to make it up to them.

Good luck! Make sure you still have a fun Halloween!

That sounds like the headset from Bella Dancerella Pop Star. My daughter has that. My dad bought it at a thrift store. I see that places like walmart.com have it for about $25.00. That includes the whole set up, though.

I would take the broken one to the store, and see if it is this toy. If so, many manufacturers will replace an item such as a part to a game, etc for a small fee plus shipping. Before ordering it though, I would make sure the child still plays with it and would want it replaced. If not, I would replace it with a gift card.

I think you should check and see if the child still uses it. If so, you need to keep searching. I don't think it's fair to just get a gift card and say, "Oh, well, I couldn't find one." Why should be friend who was kind enough to lend it be the one who searches for it?

OP, I know you weren't suggesting it. I'm just giving my opinion on someone else's suggestion.
