I ahve been wondering for some time a few things about Ebay. I have bought some really cool things there and bought some great things at great prices. With the latest few coupon fiascos I am wondering again. What is the benefit of buying coupons that the links are posted to right on line? If you go to Ebay, you have a computer. If you are seeking coupons my guess is you are a pretty savvy shopper and have a printer that you most likely purchased on final markdown with ink cartridges included. So what is the benefit? Same thing with people who buy gift cards there that are worth less than what they are bidding. Am I missing something? For great deals I get it, it makes sense but otherwise?

I wonder if the gift card purchasers might have a coupon code that actually makes their purchase less in the end. I've had a $20 off any Paypal-paid purchase code before, so I might overpay by a little, knowing in the end I'd pay less.

Just a guess...

People also get caught in the game of bidding...to some it's an addiction. ;/

People may also have money in their PP account due to completing surveys, etc...this money is not "real money" but very spendable
