I rarely watch Dr. Phil but did catch the Thurs/Fri shows (which were a two part show with a high school French teacher accused of indecent sexual contact with three of her students).

It all happened 5 or 6 (?) years ago... One of the students admitted he had lied and had recanted his story a few years ago. Two of the boys were on Dr. Phil and BOTH failed a lie detector test.

The show was disturbing... it's hard for me to explain! But those of you who saw the show can probably relate to what I'm saying.

Did any of you catch the show? Thoughts? Who do you think is lying?

I watched the shows. I rarely get to watch Dr. Phil but I really got sucked in by the story line.

I think the boys are lying. I think maybe it started as a fake brag and got way out of hand. I also thought Dr Phil asking why she wasnt more upset or why she was being all factual about it and not seeming emotion was wrong. She has been dealing with this for years and after a certain amount of time, I would think that you would become factual about it and want every inconsistency to be pointed out.

Overall, I thought that it was a good show.

While I think she REALLY messed up by writing those notes I do not believe she did anything those boys claimed she did.
I also thought it was very unfair of Dr. Phil to accuse her of not being emotional enough. She has through this and heard the accusations for years, after a while you just get all about disproving it and not about crying over it.

I thought the boys were lying.

And I think Dr. Phil really missed the mark on this one.

I agree I think the boys are lying & agree it probably was a made up brag that went too far. And yes after how many years you just learn to accept what u cannont change
