Night Owl here. I go to bed between 11p and 1a. Get up at 5am. So between 4-6hrs a night. usually around 5hrs a night.

I get between 8-9 hours a night. I also can nap anytime anyplace. It drives my hubby nuts because he doesnt sleep as well as I do. I love to sleep and am really good at it! lol I actually have a sleep study scheduled because I am tired way more then I should be. I dont have sleep apnea but I do talk a LOT in my sleep and have been known to walk a bit too.

I get around 2-4.....usually more around 2-3, It's been like this for the past 5 years at least......My body is not in the habit of getting anymore then that, but I'm sure it's a big part of the reason that I'm always sick and always feeling like I've been run over by a Mac Truck......

I like 7-8 hours myself. I feel icky if I get less. I come from a family of farmers so I go to bed between 9-10pm and get up between 4:30-6am, 7 days a week. I get a lot done before most people get out of bed! And I don't need an alarm clock. LOLcj/

I go to bed around 10:45 and get up at 6:10. So about 7 1/2 during the week. The weekends are more, we usually go to bed around midnight and get up about 9AM unless we have something going on. I'm another one if I don't get enough sleep I feel bad. Lisa

I try to get at least 6 1/2. I'm best between 7 and 7 1/2. 8 hours can be too much, unless it's that time of the month. Then I can sleep like a bear!

I can't believe some of you only get a few hours of sleep a night. How do you survive? I go to bed around 9:30, and my alarm goes off at 6:15. By 2:30 in the afternoon I am taking a quick nap for appox. 1/2 hour or so. I love sleeping & can lie down just about anywhere and close my eyes for a quick power nap - it feels oh so good!

I've been making myself go to bed around 9 pm with a book or tv on. Lights out at 10. I'm making DH do this too. Alarm goes off around 6:15. It's been wonderful. I see a change in all of us when we are getting a good nights sleep. Teenage son is less cranky too. Before that it was more like 11 pm -- and that hour makes a difference for us.

I can't function with less than 6 hours. I usually go to bed around 11 at get up at 7 so that's 8 and I could really use more LOL On weekends I might go to bed later but I sleep in til 8 or so. DH doesn't need as much sleep as I do

I have a really screwed up sleep schedule and I can't seem to change it. It started several years ago when I was working midnights. I just can't get back regular. I go to bed around 2 -3am. Up at 6:30am. Back to bed around 10am. Up at 1pm. So let's see I get a total of 7 1/2 hours throughout the night and day. I am completely a night owl. Mabear, I catch up on all my shows in the middle of the night. I hate watching a show with commericials now. |

Now, I am only averaging between 4-5. I'm usually in bed by 11, but up between 3-4. I try to just lay there until 4:30-5ish. Sometimes I can, sometimes not. I developed terrible insomnia and sleeping problems when my troubles started. I did some research and saw that insomnia is a symptom of malnutrition which was what I was suffering from. I had the doc prescribe Ambien but even w/ that I only got about 4 hours. I am up about 3 times a night to pee. I also try to get a catnap in the late morning. because I am trying to get back into the real world after being sick for months, but I am shot by noon if I don't rest a bit. Even when I lay down, I know I need to sleep, just can't get there. 2 tylenol pms and I'm out for an hour, but it does help a bit. I used to stay up until all hours of the night and had so much energy. I've always been up early, but never this early. Usually by 6 or so, but 4am seems way to early even for me. I do know that as we get older we require less sleep. I do envy people who could sleep for a long time, most of my family can. DH can sleep forever and so can DD and DS. My one son though get's up kinda early and doesn't sleep so much, but DD could sleep forever.
