been gone awhile and came on today and YUCK is all I can say. What's with the "sponsored ads" everywhere. If I wanted to look at the advertising, I would go to another section, not TC. Does anyone else not like this format? I am VERY turned off by it and I've been coming here...well...seems like forever. I am all for good change but this is not good. Thanks for letting me vent....

Yes, it pretty much stinks! However I find myself totally ignorning the ads and definately wouldn't click on any of them just because they are annoying. Even if it was something I might be interested in I won't click on it as a matter of priciple, LOL, because their stuck right there in the middle of everything.

Especially since most of the ads seem to be spam mills. Stuff that either harvests email addresses or you have to complete a zillion offers....

The entire page does not fit into my screen. I have to scroll over to see things in the right or left margin. Site taking a long time to load. Slow. I don't like the ads, nor the colors.

I will go elsewhere until things improve here. Maybe I will come back and it will better!

I don't like it either. I would skip the ads but my computer is having problems loading all the ads. My computer is about 2 years old.

sure makes things alot slower.

That's my biggest problem with it. I can ignore the ads and pass by them but the load time is ridiculous! Waaaaaaaaaaay to S-L-O-W!

Yep, I have high speed too and it takes forever for all the stupid ads (that I scroll right past as fast as I can anyway) to load. Wonder what got all this started? Christmas time? Do they need money that badly?

I hate sitting here and waiting for the pages to load, reminds me of when we used to be on dial up....don't have much of the patience for it.....

I agree. Very frustrating. I was hoping I didn't get some sort of virus on my computer until I realized it was probably all those ads. Yuck. I won't be on as much because it's too slow, unfortunately.

Man, I'm glad it's not my PC - I ran a virus scan, cleared the cache ... this site is still slower than Christmas! I really don't like the new format!!!

They are ALL OVER the place! Very distracting and not anything I will click on because of that.

I was wondering why it was taking so long to load or to reply to a question. If it's the ads that's causing this, then I don't like it either. I can overlook the ads if they don't cause the system to bog down.

I have FIOS and it runs SLOW on my system too. Glad to see I'm not the only one having problems.

OMG I cant stand this! I remember the same thing happened last time they upgraded, hopefully they are working on fixing the slow loading. Can anyone confirm? I would go to the help desk board, but honesly, after waiting for this to load, I dont have the patience to wait for another board to load.

I could live with the ads if it didnt slow down the site.
