Thank- You all so much for the last thread on Gift Idea's for my 11 year old. Someone posted a thread telling me about Amazon's Complete Set of Harry Potter Books,. I got them and just received the Email stating they are being shipped on the 13th.( AWESOME PRICE 116.00 FREE SHIPPING )

Ok Here's the deal. All last year between Wal-Mart and Targets I have ended up with 9 - 35 Gallon Storage containers FULL of toys and games for the kids

I think we have every Power Ranger toy's ever made, I also had a few toys with recalls on them ( Dora's Talking Van and some of the people) Got to call them Monday if open and shipped them back for credit.... Thankfully the Castle we have wasn't on the list Nor any of the furniture..

But when I started putting the piles out for each child I had MORE than what I thought of the FLY PEN Stuff. I have the refills for pen, The charger, 4 different books, But NO PEN Ack !! Right now I can get the pen for 49.xx But wanted to hear some closer than reviews form people I have never spent time with. So do you, your child Like the pen ?? Pro's, Con's, Likes? Dislikes ? Best place to buy that costly Paper LOL..

Thanks to Programs cashed in for( Gift card @ Wal-Mart and Target and the After Christmas sales and Christmas in July sales ) We are very Thankful to be able to do this helps so much with the cost of Pricey Stuff for that Tween.

My little ones would be so sad if the castle ends up on the recall list...... They will not be getting any new Dora this year, just don't want to risk it.....

I'd love to hear about the Fly pen too! A couple of my kids have this on their list....

We have a flypen, the 9 year old loves it he draws out the keyboard and plays and does the trivia stuff and the harry potter map. have to watch I dont think the new pens support the older activity books, the oldest works with it to practice spanish, here they've had spanish since kindergarten and he's only had it.... this year so he's way behind. i downloaded all the programs from the members site so if they change anything I have a backup. i use it some and it doesnt seem to have much trouble "reading" what i write, you can also write out a whole paper and upload it to pc so you have a copy too.

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE, I call Fisher Price today and spoke to Patrick, Seems even if you have a product on the recall list there's a stamped code on the product itself, If it ends with a 7 then it's on the recall list, all mine ended up with a 6, So nothing was on the recall list. BUT, Since kids were out of school today and I had to open the Van and people my 5 year old came in and saw them , She has been asking for her Dora stuff since then, I had to lie to her and say it was broken and needed to go back to store.( Yes I know , not good to lie to the kids but what else could I have said )

Any hoot, I went ahead and ordered the FLY Pen from Amazon. Its not a product they sell and I ended up paying 10+ shipping for the pen and the storage case ... But I think my 11 year old will really enjoy this item.

Val, I didn't know the FLY PEN supported downloading to a PC,, I thought that was only for the
FLY FUSION PEN, Model 2.0.... Also I didn't know we can get the support package for the pen either, All the Leapfrog site shows it the download packages for 49.99 I'll have to call in order to make sure they offer this still for the FLY PEN 1.0.. Would be nice at 49.99 thats a BARGAIN !!..

Christine's Christmas if finished and I couldn't be happier, I really dislike having to search and search for things geared for her. As I stated this is not your typical 11 yo girl, She would much rather read a book or do* research* Yes know odd for a tween to search the net for educational sites, But thats her all the way.

I'll NEVER EVER forget the year the new Leapfrog thing came out ( A few years back) It was suppose to be for children age 10+ well Oh I remember it was called Quantum Leap I *think* Well this child mastered it under 30 Min's. I PAID 80.00 PLUS 10.00 SHIPPING To get that for her, OMG I was very upset she mastered it that fast. needless to say she never touched it again.

So I'm really hoping this will have her set for a year or so and if she takes care of the FLY PEN, Then next year I'll upgrade to the Fusion Pen for her.

I do merchandising at WM stores, and I noticed a whole cart of bratz makeup cases recalled by the mfg in the claims department. Sometimes recalls are only for the store, not the general public (I dont know why), but they were pulled from the shelves, scanned out and returned to the manufacturer...you may want to check that out because I noticed it on your list

Oh no !!, Thanks for the heads up on this, I have to run to walmart in just a few mins to get flour for 11 yo's project at school. I'm going to ask the person in toys or make up about the recall. This was the rounded case with brats and I DID buy it over the summer at wal-mart.
