We have a new ad on squidoo that needs votes to make it into the top five. Some of you helped us with the last one and if we could just get some votes, it would be a huge, huge help. If you can take a few minutes to vote that would be AWESOME.

In checking on things from home tonight, the boards seem to be working just great. I think we have the vast majority of the database errors under control.

Today, sporadicaly they have been a bit faster, but no where close to normal load time. And Now, after trying to post a thread or a reply, there are periodic DATABASE ERRORS. In addition to those quirks, I have lost all of my rep power and my user cp comments. I would really like to have that back.

I am still holding out hope on getting the board to a good functionality.

I think its a little faster but this is the first reply I have been able to do. all the others gives me the data error message or just never posts. I tried to click the ad you mentioned but it wasnt clickable for me at the time. will try again later, if I can get back on here.
and my rep points are gone too. there was tons and tons of them and now there is 15? what happened? can I get them back?

I agree. It seems a little bit faster, but not up to par. I'm still opening 2 windows and clicking back and forth.

My rep power is down to 4, but I could care less. I think it's a joke anyway. Somebody doesn't like you, or doesn't agree with something you said, and *poof* rep points are in the red.

I thought I had the db errors fixed, but I guess not so I need to keep digging.

We are working on the rep power, the 2 billion plus numbers for a large number of folks was just crazy and we are trying to get them rebuilt with more sanity. I posted an announcement about that project.

No, for me it's loading slower today, taking about 1 minute for each page to load.

It is faster, Yes.

But every so often I have to wait and wait and then I get that data base error. Then it speeds along and there the DB error is again??
Weird how it is intermitten.

I never had it run that slow for me but I would get database errors. It's flying tonight and so far no errors.

Dumb question, but I don't understand what we are supposed to click on for the Squidoo site. Just anything or something in particular? Right now the site is running a little faster for me.

This is how it's working for me.

It'll be super fast, then bog up - then I get a DB error.

Click refresh - waits a bit, comes back in blazing fast for a little while again.

Rinse and repeat.

It is a bit faster, but still seems to take forever to load when going from one forum to another.

Squidoo wants me to create an account. It won't let me vote with a log-in at MC.

Can you explain exactly what Squidoo does for us (in simple, non-geek language, please LOL)?

I got several DB errors before I could post. Right NOW it's running fast, but I'm still getting a lot of those errors.
