I did get to watch this. I can't wait to see what happens on the "reunion" show tonight.

I knew he was toooo perfect!

I must admit after the big buildup I was pretty disappointed. After I thought it over though I figured it's probably the most realistic ending to a reality show!! I will watch the show tonight too!

I couldn't believe he didn't pick anyone. I think instead of proposing he could have at least asked one of them to at least keep exploring their relationship.
Tonight's show should be good though.
I can't fault the guy though for being honest with them.

Would you believe I missed the first Bachelor and last night's show because........

ABC is our Tennessee Titans channel and they HAD to show the game last night and they did show Dancing with the Stars, Samantha Who and The Bachelor, starting at 12:30 in the morning....UGH....Bachelor was on at 2:30 this morning......so frustrating.

I'll watch tonight and see what they say.

Why buy the ring? Why carry on the way he did about them? I hope tonight he has an explanation for all of this....I bet his other rejects got a kick out of it though!
BTW, I was betting on Deanna, Jenni was too invasive...and too giggley

It was ridiculous, this was the first Bachelor I have watched in a very long time, and I followed it faithfully, even rushed to and from Wal-Mart last night in order to be home in time for the finale, and then this!! Unbelievable!! I think it makes ABC and the show look bad too!! I don't think I'll be watching the next one!!

Look on ABC.com, I think The Bachelor is one of the shows that they have online in full episode so that you can watch it there. Not certain though. I know I watch a lot of shows there that I miss regularly. HTH. Add me to the list that's 'sick of The Bachelor'. It's just obnoxious watching all of those girls throw themselves all over the guy. Like my little daughter says, "Go buy your own rose!" Ha ha.

OK, I just turned on TiVo and watched the last show. I think he wanted to fall for one of these girls but it just didn't happen. I think he played the part trying to make it real for himself, down to the ring and having Deannas' dad flown out for the proposal, but it just wasn't there for him...I think he has comitment issues..(did I date him many years ago?..sounds so familiar)
I think the two girls should be glad that he folded now rather then 5 years and 2 kids later.....good luck to him, he seems a little screwed up. He is still damn cute. I also see him as kinda' brave, doing the "right" thing on public tv. The weirdos will come out now, hate mail and love letters.

Other then the Bachelorette, have any of the Bachelor's and the "winners" actually tied the knot?

i wonder if this will the end the bachelor. alot of folks not happy with how it ended, very disspointing for those that followed it closely.

No others tied the knot. Byron and Mary were still together until the other day when she hit him and he pressed charges. What a waste.
