Monday Weigh-In --- 11/26

I didn't see a thread for this week so I thought I'd get it started.

I'm up 1.7 lbs. I kinda expected it, but now I'm back on track.

I am also up 1 pound. Not bad considering Thanksgiving and eating out all 4 days we were on vacation. Probably would have been worse if I hadnt walked my behind off on black friday

No change here. I really need to shed those pounds before X-Mas. I'll keep trying.

I'm down a total of 3.5 pounds. Not sure HOW I did that. I haven't been eating as much since my pills are making me not hungry. I guess that's a good thing.

Thanks dnj51 for starting the thread this week!!!! I was meaning to yesterday, but every time I got online I was checking out the cyber monday deals and totally forgetting to post.

Well considering it was Thanksgiving week, I am totally impressed with my weight loss of 4 lbs, bring my total to 12.8lbs....with only 2.2 left to reach my New Year Goal!

Congrats to Judy for already making her goal......WTG!
Great Job MazzyMay for a huge loss this week!

For those of you who managed to lose weight over the holiday......What's your secret?

Christmas will kill me weight wise, especially since I'm going home, and it's the first time in 13 years that I'll be there for Christmas, so I know I'll probably go hog wild.....

We are going home over the holidays as well, I am hoping to maintain my weight during the visit.

As far me losing weight over Thanksgiving....I just made myself accountable. I ate everything that was made, but I had smaller portions. Plus I walked an extra 3 miles both Thursday and Friday...with hopes of combating the extra calorie intake from Thanksgiving. Another thing was I had a much smaller breakfast, knowing that I would be eating more later on. We then planned Dinner for 2:30pm...so then I didn't eat again other then dessert later that evening around 6:30. And what I think helped the most was we made enough to eat, but not so much we would have leftovers for days on end. I personally don't think I ever gained weight from splurging on one meal........I gained it from splurging on to many meals

Luckily for me I don't have much family down here in SC so we don't have BIG family get-togethers. My mom cooked enough for the one meal and for lunch the next day so there wasn't anyway to over eat. I asked her to do this for my sake. I need to lose about 50lbs more to reach my ideal weight. I have some joint problems and the extra weight is making it worse. My big problem is junk food. I try to keep just enough for one snack per person per day in the house. I have been trying to exercise more also. When I stand I try to move my body. I even dance in the shower to get exercise. I have my kids helping me also. They both need to lose a few pounds (about 10) also, so I've made it a team effort and competition.

Congrats!!!

No change here, which is still good, since I've not gained back all of the weight I lost when I was in the hospital!

Down 3 pounds since I last posted. I was sick over Thanksgiving so that's probably why I didn't gain anything. Only 3.5 pounds to go to meet my goal!

I am down 1 pound. I am a little disappointed because I did eat more than I should have on Thanksgiving Day, but I have been working hard since then. I lift weights several days and do the Treadmill or Gazelle everyday! I am trying to hang in there.....I am actually very close to my first goal weight of 125. It has taken me one month to lose five pounds. I have found as I grow older......it comes off a lot harder!

No loss, no gain... pretty good for after a holiday.

4 to go. Hmmm... It took me a year to lose the first 8 pounds so I might have set my goal too high. LOL. Just kidding. I know that I can do it.
