I'm more than a little perplexed. Why wasn't the basketball kid a regular player?

I love this kid. I have seen him several times on TV . I never get tired of seeing this video.
He got to meet President Bush and has been on several TV shows. Having a special needs child in our family makes it even more enjoyable to see.

The singer was a new one for me. It is great.
thanks for posting them,
Shirley

This is a boy from my community and as heartwarming and exciting as it was to to watch from around the country, it was even more magnified right here at home. I remember watching on the news as he met President Bush and crying because it was just so touching!

What a absolutely wonderful story! Such a great lesson on never givng up and we are all capable of accomplishing great things despite any challenges we face or have. I remember when the story first broke...about a year or two ago...I thought I remember hearing an update on him but, I can't recall what he was doing since the story first aired.

Small world! I am a graduate of Greece Athena, and it was so heartwarming to see this happen for Jason. Especially all the wonderful things that came afterward, I bet neither he nor his family ever expected he would meet the President, win an award for a sports moment, etc.

Thank you for posting this, it is always great to see!

As a mom of a child on the spectrum, I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this story. Any child is capable of great things, and you have to keep the faith.

I thought that I heard they are making a movie about this young man's story.

[Waving] Hi!
I am so jealous, Pittsford gets all the really cool stores and restaurants.
Have you been to the new Steinmart yet?

Don't know if anyone is interested or not, but I just read in our Greece Post that J-Mac has a book that just came out.

It's called, The Game of My Life: A True Story of Challenge, Triumph, and Growing Up Autistic.

Amazon has it, sorry not sure how to link.
