Question Favorite Holiday CDs??

I've been listening to Josh Groban's CD, "Noel", for a month, and love it! Also still love my old Luther VanDross Christmas CDs. Have lots of old music, lots of new music, but keep coming back to these.

As far as nostalgia, I love Andy Williams and also the Ray Conniff Singers. Contemporary, Shedaisy has a wonderful C'mas cd.

I downloaded the Josh Groban cd the other day, and love it!

I like the old classics by Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby, but I also really like some of the stuff by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. We have quite a few compilation cd's too with modern rock/pop/country artists

We listen to a lot of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, etc. These were my fathers, and he would play them every year when I was growing up. Now that's he gone, it is really nice to hear the songs. (Of course, many of these were old cassette tapes!)

Last year we took the kids to see the Trans-Siberian show. It was really amazing! My 17 yr old, who plans to major in music education, loved it, and will see it again in early December. For my younger 2, it was just a bit too loud, a bit too long, but we all enjoy the CDs.

And I have to admit we still throw on some of the kids old stuff...Chipmunks Christmas, etc.
