Smile Steve and Barry's clothing store...

Have you shopped there? The closest one to me is right at 100 miles away. I can't decide if it would be worth the trip. Do they carry boys/men's clothing too? I know they carry Sarah Jessica Parker's clothing line, Bitten, and Venus Williams Eleven line but are they well made, considering they are selling items from both lines for $20 and less?

TIA,
Laura

I get a kick out of that store. They have inexpensive clothing. It's not made the best but it's ok. They do have TONS of hilarious tshirts. And they have inexpensive coats. I once got coats with funny sayings on them-like a black coat wth Beer Delivery Guy on the back-to give to my then 20 yr old son and his friends. They were on sale for 7.99!!! They are 3 years old and are still fine. I just recently bought a mens undertaker tshirt there for my son for Christmas this year. They have lots of mens clothing. They have some college named coats, t's etc... They also carry kids and juniors. If you are into funny tshirts you would no doubt enjoy it. They have baseball caps too. I'd try on the jeans. I bought some for my son once and they didn't fit and he's pretty stable in his pant size. If you go have fun. It's a kick!

I buy the jeans and t-shirts there for my kids-they actually do hold up pretty well (I was pleasantly surprised). I also have two dress shirts from them as well, and am actually wearing one today. The have done fine through many loads of laundry. Not sure if it's worth a 100mile trip, but I would definitely stop by if you were in the area.

I saw one of the coats on a news program and when I got there the coat looked very poorly made. I have purchased some items for my DD from the Bitten line. My 11 yo, who wears a childs size 10 or 12, can wear the XS small shirts from the collection. I think the clothes run really small, but maybe that's just me. I have not tried the pants but did buy a really cute pencil skirt for 3.99. Great deals if you need basics. Worth the trip if you have other places to visit and lots of time (our store is HUGE).

I shop there when I'm needing some new OSU sweatshirts or Tshirts, I just buy them bigger then I need them because they do shrink. One of my DS's has an OSU jacket that he got there almost 3 years ago now, and it's held up extrememely well. I bought school polo shirts once, and the 14/16 shrunk so bad that it wouldn't even fit my child who wore a 6 at the time, so just be careful, and maybe try a piece at a time. Some things are better then others.

In this case, you get what you pay for. It's definitely not good quality stuff. but depending on what you're looking for, it might fit the bill.

Mine too shrank... tshirts get big.. jackets are mass produced (linings are off center, hems messed up) but in a pinch it is good...

My DD's love this store for Tshirts. We do buy them big, because of the shrinking

CLOTHES SHRINK is an understatement! lol... I was so excited when I started loosing weight, I went and bought me some pajama pants.... they must have sewed the material the wrong way, after one wash I am talking... they went from dragging the floor to capris.....

I've never been impressed with the quality of the stuff there.

But there are times when high quality isn't really a big thing.

Check it out if you're near one, but I wouldnt' drive 100 miles just to go to one.

I've never been to this store before...in fact, I've never seen one around before. So I decided to go into their website and check locations...It looks like one is coming here soon at Discover Mills! I've always wanted to check it out...it sounds like they'd have lots of things that my 14 year old daughter would like... ~Lisa
