Same here - and they go back on Jan 8th.

We have mid-terms Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and "make-up" on Thursday - I hope we don't need it!

We go, MON-1/2 day Friday and back on Jan3.

I have school all week, full days! (I teach 4th grade)

Then we get the week of Christmas off. Then the next week we have off Mon, Tues, Wed, go back on Thurs. Jan 3!!!!!

It is snowing, maybe we will have a snowday tomorrow! hope hope!

Monday-1/2 day on Friday (I have to work a full day though )

I have to go back the 4th, the kids the 7th.

School on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.. they come back Jan 7.

Before this post, I totally forgot they were off after Christmas... oops!

Monday - Friday full days all week. I sub Monday, Wednesday & Thursday so far. They go back Jan 2nd.

We have full days all week this week. Hmmm...it would make sense for Friday to be a 1/2 day. I better go check the school calendar and double-check.

My boys go the whole this week; my daughter has school up until Thursday. I think they both go back Jan 7.

My high schooler has half days Mon., Tues., and Wed. this week...

They are all off from this Thursday until January 7th...I'm looking forward to the break...no projects, no getting up early, no picking them up after school and taking them here and there...We really need some down time... ~Lisa

We have 3 weeks off for Winter Break - Dec. 17 - Jan. 6. DD (high school junior) has plenty of homework to keep her from thinking she is on break. DS (high school freshman) has none.

My 13 yr DD goes until Thursday, 1/2 day
My HS twins go 1/2 day everyday but Wednesday is their last day.

We just missed an entire week of school (Dec 3-7) because of a huge windstorm (and no power) in our area. The kids went back to school last week.

ZERO! Our last day was the 14th and we go back January 3rd!

Mine go Monday-Wed and 1/2 day on Thursday. They go back on Jan. 7th.
Thursday they have parties so it's no work at all. The parties start when they get to school and dismissal is at 10:10.

Full days, all week. Although we have a snow day today.

Fortunately, my kids have their regular schedule this week - M-F for DS#1 in elementary school and M-Th for DS#2 in pre-k4. I'm not sure what I would do if they were home this week -- they'd drive me nuts!!! We go back January 9.

My MIL is a para in the next county over and they go M-W this week and then go back on January 7.

But so far this week we've had Monday as a snow day (which was a 2 hr. delay to start with) and 2 hour delay on Tues. morning (tomorrow) so we'll see what morning brings.

Half days are no longer allowed as they do not count as a full day attendance.
We go through Wed the 19th and return Jan 7. The teachers have professional development Jan 3-4. I really don't see a need to be out this Thurs and Friday. Two days before Christmas Eve is plenty early IMHO.

Oh what fun!

The kids are like a bunch of wild Indians. Nothing is getting done this week. I wonder how many movies we will watch today?
Just about the only class we are doing everyday this week is spelling and a bit of SS. I do know when we get back from Christmas break, we only go to school for 2 days then the weekend hits. It will take a week to get the kids back on track.

Sell crazy some place else, we are all stocked up here.

Mine go Mon-Friday this week, then back on Jan 2.

This week has/will have had 2 evening concerts, band pizza party, dance during the school day, present exchange.

I *think* they are hanging onto days for potential snow days, might be why christmas vacation is so slim.

Mine have a normal week except they get out 1 1/2 hours early on Friday---woop-dee-dooo!!! We go back to school on Jan 2.
