Music for a 10 year old boy who wants to be cool.....

I want to buy him a cd for his mp3 (sony walkman), but don't want him listening to harmful lyrics. He loves Blake Lewis (beat boxer from American Idol), has anyone heard anything about his new album? He secretly likes all the music his sister listens to (HS Musical, Hanna Montana etc. but would never admit it -he said no to Corbin Bleu and Jonas Bros.)

Thanks!

Rebecca

I suggest the "Now That's What I Call Music" series. I think its on number 26 or so. They're cd's of current hit songs of all different types, on the same cd, and they are the radio versions so they are edited.

These are pretty much the only cds I actually still buy for my kids, everything else they just download....

I heard on the radio this morning that Blake Lewis first album is now out! Maybe you could get that?

What about SmashMouth? They did a bunch of lyrics for the Shrek series, but they're pretty hip and clean.
