Master Bedroom Decor

Just curious how everyone decorates their master bedroom?

Feminine and frilly? Traditional or Masculine? Country?
Paint or wallpaper?

Mine is kinda feminine- Waverly Sweet Violet pattern. Cherry furniture including a four-poster bed.
DH doesn't really care about that kind of thing...so I get what I want!

Mine is kind of boring-Queen Anne style cherry furniture, light-mustard colored walls, and we have a quilt w/ the same yellow, and some red and merlot colors. Our master bath is a bit lively. It is really big. The walls are red, with white tile on the floor/jacuzzi, and we have white vanities. These are the colors from the original owner. While it actually looks pretty cool, I would LOVE to paint the bedroom periwinkle blue w/ all white accents, and figure out something else for the bathroom.

Mine is dark burgundy, with an awful border that my dreaded Ex just had to have . So it reminds me of his loathsome taste every day. I have a beautiful bedroom set, solid cherry 4 poster bed, triple dresser, glass tops, armoire. But thanks to him being a bum, in March I have to give it all to him. So I think I am going to use that as an excuse to redecorate, get that horrible border down , lightn the walls, pray that I find some ultra cheap furniture that looks good, and find a whole new look!!

White walls, and Ikea's dullest bed and dressers. I don't mind the dressers, but they're just not interesting. Red curtains over blinds to keep out the light. I did pick up some giant poppy stickers, also from Ikea, which I've put behind the bed, and I like those a lot. I could be better at decorating.

We will be redecorating our bedroom after the first of the year sometime.
It will be done mainly in turquoise and a dark blue-green, sorta, with other greens and some light tans and beiges. (Sounds AWFUL in print!). It will have an outdoor look with lots of birds and outdoor pictures that I have taken. We have an oak bed but will be moving the dresser and chests to the room next door.
We were going to open up the wall between the 2 rooms but now think we won't so we can keep it a 4 bedroom house. Will be adding wicker bed side tables and a chair and maybe a small table. It's not a large room.

I have gold striped walls done by hand with flat alternating with gloss in the same color (my DH could have killed me). We have large cherry furniture with red and gold comforter and beige carpet. Three windows with bamboo shades and indian style sheer curtains.

DD's room is fabulous and is a very bright sea blue with 3 bright horizontal stripes on one wall in purple, lime green, and white.

These are the only two that I have completed. Complete house renovation in the spring so I'm sure this will change.

Hate girly or frilly but that's me. Our room is kinds modern...hotel like I guess. Our walls are a cafe au lait color (coffee with cream). We have cafe au lai and cream drapes that cover one whole wall (we have a high window in the center and two windows on the sides. If we don't dark room drape it, you wake up at the crack of dawn because of the light. We have a brown leather bed (my pride and joy that took a couple years to find) and beige, silver and cream bedding. Beige ish carpet. We have dark oak dresser, nightstands and armore as well as a bookshelf. We plan on stripping down the dresser and nightstands this year and restain them black or darker brown. We also want to get rid of the armoire and get a low black unit with a flat screen tv on the wall and ditch the bookshelf and maybe put a corner electric fireplace unit or simply a chair...haven't decided yet
