Where's everyone heading after Christmas for sales??

Yes, I'm already making my plans!! My sister and I will probably head over to Target tomorrow to see what's left. Then we will plan our attack! I mostly go for the food. I am also planning on going to Younkers (I have a $10.00 off $10.00 purchase good only until noonish) and then Barnes and Noble. I'm sure I will wander around the mall and watch everyone else too!

No plans to go anywhere, I'm all shopped out. If I "happen" to get to Target, fine, if not, that' s OK, too.

I'm not going anywhere, since I don't have anywhere to shop! LOL! Hubby says it's one of the best things about living on a small island in Alaska. No shopping, means I don't spend money!

Doesn't he realize though that after 3 years of this, I'll be making up for lost shopping time when we eventually get back down into the 'real world'! LOL!

Holly - do you do a lot of online shopping? I do a lot more of that nowadays.....and would think that's how I'd get my fix in a situation such as yours.....unless the shipping to Alaska is out of this world.....that would stink!

I have to work Wednesday, but even if I did not, I'd be waiting awhile for the deeper price cuts to take effect.

I am pretty much shopped out too. I plan on staying home all week and playing with my 4 kids, etc. Just enjoying life with them as they are all growing up so fast! May have to take a few things back to stores that may or may not fit the girls, but that's about it. No more spending that's for sure!

No where in particular. I am just excited to get to go shopping with my mom and my DD

The last couple years we were not able to. My mom lives in a different state and so we got to go visit.

We will probably start at Target, but I am not looking for anything really.

We plan our trip on where we want to be at lunch time!!!!

Since I have been running around like a chicken with my head cut off the last few days, I'm not sure I want to go out Wednesday morning. But if I do, it will be to Target and Walgreen's, which are within 2.5 miles of my home. Dh is heading to Wal-Mart (10 miles away) to stock up on wrapping paper, bows, gift tags, etc.

I probably do about 90% of our shopping on-line. Most places I order from are pretty good on shipping costs but there are a few companies who seem to think that it's okay to charge 3 - 4 times the normal rates to ship to us. I don't think they realize we get our mail just like everyone else.

I was so disappointed a few months ago when I tried to order a shirt for my daughter. She is a HUGE fan of the show House. Well they were doing a charity thing where you could buy a t-shirt and the proceeds went to a charity. I thought "cool idea", it will be a win-win....buy the t-shirt for DD (it was going to be a Christmas present) and the money went to a charity. Well guess what....the t-shirt was $19.99 but because we live in Alaska....they wanted to charge $24.99 just to ship it to us! Well, DD never did get the t-shirt....I wrote an email from the company and they basically told me to take it or leave it. Well.........I left it.

Do you get Amazon Prime to Alaska? If so, I'd surely look into that. I love it... and I live in Arizona!

To answer the original question, I'll be making a run to Walmart but not until they go deeper discount (75%) because I too need to restock on Christmas paper, bows, and Christmas lights.

I'm not going shopping tomorrow. I like to wait until the prices are marked down 75% off.

Nowhere. I work the day after Christmas and even if I didn't I can't handle the crowds and some of the rude people anymore.

I moving up with you, that's one way to stop shopping! Then I would have to hear DH complain about how cold he is though, so that could be worse!

I was thinking of heading to Walmart, DS didn't get one thing he wanted and he has a bunch of gift cards to use, so I told him maybe we'd go this week. I do need some gift boxes also and maybe some wrapping paper, but nothing I am rushing out for this year, especially with 2 kids to bring along.

Looks like I'll hit Target after all.....to return the Rip-Stik and Xbox 360 Need for Speed Pro Street (but rebuy at today's price of $37 - can't resist $13 in savings )
