I haven't tried it, but I have the rat zapper. It works great. It's a mouse/rat trap that works with batteries. I got it on Amazon. The rat zapper works better than the snap type or glue traps
I thought about getting the riddex but I read reviews of it online and many reviews were not great. Also with the repellers sometimes it can take weeks to see a difference.

I bought the Riddex 11 years ago when we moved into our first apartment. I'm pretty sure it worked but it brought all the roaches out of the walls first!!

Yeah, we have the rat zapper, too, and it really does work. We have two cats, but had a problem for a week or two with a mouse. The rat zapper got it the first night

It is much, much more humane and you don't have to have any contact or even look at the mouse -- you just turn your head away and dump the mouse in a bag and throw it away.

We got ours at the local hardware store for about $25.
