We had a new floor put in (light laminate throughout the house I LOVE it and cringe when I think of the garbage lodged in the carpet) and are waiting for our new furniture to be delivered. Meantime it's 12/13 I am in a motel 6, my dog dies of pancreatic cancer, my house is in an uproar, I can't decorate, send out cards, down to one dog AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH
Lord help me to be strong without being able to vent and post and get some support!!!!

Still waiting for the furniture but had to hook up the computer.

Does my heart good to read everyone's posts.

So sad about your dog. You should enjoy the hardwood flooring. Our first floor is hardwood and we really like it. We have dogs and I can't imagine what a carpet on our first floor would look like.

Do you have a central vacuum system? If so, look into getting a wall dustpan. I just sweep everything towards it once a day and it sucks it to the central vac bucket and we empty it every few weeks. It's a gift from above in my opinion : )

So sorry about your dog. I'm glad you have new flooring, your computer hooked up again and have started your new year with us!
