How about we start a boycott against answering any of the troublemakers posts????? As another poster said, they get their kick out of stirring up trouble and upsetting people. Maybe if we all band together and NOT acknowledge ANY of their negative posts they will eventually slither away. What does everyone think?

Alright well, I guess this is going to be a very subjective post because not all persons are going to agree on who they view as a troublemaker.

kathytheshopper is 100% right. Simply ignore those you believe to be causing trouble or simply not adding value to your experience. If you are logged in you can even just go here:

And then add them to your ignore list to remove them from your personal experience. This is a choice we leave up to each of you, unless somebody's posts are so over the line that their inappropriateness is blatantly obvious to any reasonable person.

If you don't find the drama amusing, ignore it, don't add to it and I have to believe the level of drama will be significantly reduced.

One exception is the abuse of our volunteer mods, since by the nature of their role they can't simply ignore the posts of any member and therefore may end up being subjected to unwarranted abusive attacks. Those types of posts will be viewed through a much finer lens.

I have pretty much always ignored people on here who I feel have never grown up and have to satisfy their childish needs by posting stupid, or nasty, or ignorant remarks.
These people have no self esteem and have to build themselves up by putting others down.
We have to feel sorry for them and by ignoring them we are not giving them the satisfaction that they are searching for. if we only respond to the positive posts we will be ignoring the trouble makers and eventually they will go away.

So what do you think should be done?

When you insult people, either on the board or behind the scenes, why can't they retaliate in some way? Why should you always have the last word? Why should others just take and take and take?

I think it's about time people stand up for themselves. If you feel it's harrassing, then maybe it's time to look within YOURSELF for a change and find out WHY people might be reacting - and yes, I mean RE-acting - to YOUR behavior.

I think there are people in this world that expect to never be accountable for any words or behavior. I think there are a few on this board.

You reap what you sow, folks. Maybe if what you're getting back is so crappy, it's time to look at what you're sending out. No one can do anything about THAT except YOU.

There is one person that is doing this all. She is sick and demented. Ever since she has been a part of this community, this same thing begins to happen.

How can you actually believe that creating multiple fake user names to anonymosly harrass people on the Internet is "standing up for yourself'? My God, you don't even have the guts to use one ID! You just negged me again for the thread that is five weeks old and have made multiple derogatory posts about me.

Whether you like my opinions or not, I use one username and one username only to express them. Even those who don't share my views wouldn't accuse me of being a wimp like you and hiding behind other names to get my point across. Everything I've ever said, I took credit for under one ID.
