Anyone watch Celebrity Apprentice tonight? They divided the celebrities into the men's team, whose project manager was Stephen Baldwin and the women's team, lead by Omarosa. The challenge was to see which team could raise more money selling hot dogs. I was impressed with Gene Simmons of KISS because he made some phone calls to raise big bucks. One of his contacts gave him $5,000 and the other $10,000. Omarosa was herself, if you've seen her from her previous appearance on the show. I thought she was going to be fired but I guess they need to keep her around for more drama.

I think the show will be a flop . . . They should have picked better celebrities IMO.

I forgot it was on and I guess I am glad I didn't waste that hour after all. I haven't really watched it the last 2 seasons or so and now that Omarosa is on I won't even bother, she annoys me.

I didn't think anyone even watched the last season of The Apprentice and if this is Trump's idea of "celebrities," I think it's pretty lame. I won't be watching. I'm really quite sick of Donald Trump at this point!

I'm sick of Trump too, but I can't help watching. Gene Simmons vs. The Donald? No comparison because Gene Simmons is a freaking marketing genius and a very savvy businessman. I'm going to force myself to watch it until Simmons is out of the game.

I'm with you, I can't stand Donald Trump! To be honest, I thought they canceled Apprentice entirely after the horrible ratings last season.

It was a pretty funny show tonight! I hate Omarosa. I think she will be kept for the ratings for a few shows than axed! No one likes on the show.

I'm another one who can't stand Omarosa, I'm still trying to figure out why she is on "celebrity" apprentice....it's obviously for the drama she brings....I love Gene Simmons, and really like his show Family Jewels...I hope he gets into a standoff with the Donald, and puts him in his place......

I did watch but missed who was fired. I figured Omarosa wouldn't be the one since she bring the bs. Between Carol and Tiff, I figured Carol because "THE DONALD" (LOL) thought she should have known her area better being from NY and all.

I DVR'd it we're huge Gene Simmons fans here even my DS is too. Gene is a marketing genius and I too would love to see him butt heads with Donald. Gene is the only reason we will watch it.

I don't usually watch Apprentice but since nothing else was on- I did. Like alot of you- I wasn't very impressed with the people on it. I also don't get why Omarosa was on there.

I was really impressed by Gene Simmons too. I've never seen Family Jewels but I think I'll try to find it. What channel is it usually on?

I too think Gene Simmons will kick A on this show, he really is a brilliant business man. They should have put his partner Shannon on the show too, she is quite hysterical. I am actually betting he will win, except that he will probably mow over The Donald (hahahaha) and well we all know what happens to anyone that upstages The Donald (think Carolyn from the Apprentice/used to work for him, etc.). I personally wish they could have gotten Rosie O'Donnell to do the show (no chance in H e double hockeysticks, but it would have been interesting to say the least). Not a big fan of hers but still. I meant to watch but I was exhausted and fell asleep before it came on. Wonder if NBC has it showing on NBC.com? I'll check it out.

Oh yes, and Omarosa....who CAN stand her?! She has some serious personality flaws to say the least. Of course she was strategically placed on this show for ratings. Hate it too as I thought her 15 minutes of fame were finally up. Now guess we'll be seeing her everywhere again soon. Gag. I hadn't watched the last couple seasons of The Apprentice, and yes I do believe it did get cancelled. Guess this is NBC's way (and Trump of course) of trying to livin it up again. Have to admit though that it really does take some guts from most of these celebrities to come on here and do this, I mean Donald Trump isn't exactly known for his overwhelming kindness in the boardroom, etc. Did they say at the beginning of the show what the 'prize' was going to be this time? Is Trump donating to a charity of their choice or is the celebrity really going to be offered a position with Trump? Interesting.

I've never watched.......maybe I need to give it a try.

I agree with everybody else. I love Gene Simmons. I think he's going to make the show work. I was also impressed with Marilou Henner.

It cracked me up when Pierse said Omarosa was not a celebrity.

But what I'm really waiting for is for the girls to put Omarosa in her place!

I was very impressed with Gene Simmons. I also liked Marilou Henner. I felt bad for the Playmate. Omarossa said, as the team leader, that she didn't want the celebrity card played. The Playmate wanted to and questioned Omarossa on the decision. Then, in the board room, Omarossa attacked her for not playing the card. The poor girl didn't stand a chance against Omarossa and Carol Alt.

I really liked Gene and Omarossa. I know she is a witch but dang it I like her. From the preview it seems that Gene says something that upset the Trump princess. My thought is what do the expect from Gene Simmons!!! Hello Daddy Trump better watch some video of a Kiss concert of old!!! And I'm sorry but little girl your a Trump and your in the business world grow up child!!! Those Trump kids irritate me more than anything.

I like Gene and Marilou the best I hope they make it to the end. Omarosa doesn't bother me in the least because you know what you will get with her. Every reality show has a bad guy. Like her or not people love to talk about the bad guy. Omarosa is smart because the bad guy on these shows are the ones that everyone remembers even more that the person that wins.

I agree we the people that said they thought the Apprentice was cancelled. I hadn't watched it the past few years.

Who in the heck is Omarosa?

The most talked about contestant from season one. To put it very nicely, she's a little bit abrasive. Tune in.....you'll see what I mean.

Gene Simmons is a marketing genius. I would say he is using this show as a marketing tool for Family Jewels. I don't think he can learn a thing from Trump, but Trump could learn alot from Simmons. I hate Trump, I think he is a bag of wind (all fur coat and no knickers) I will not watch.

I caught it on a rerun and I can't say I was impressed with the D-List celebrities. It appears to be a case of who has the richest friends and who can solicit the most donations from them. I'll get bored with it if that goes on every week. I think Gene Simmons is probably amarter than some contestants but he's pretty arrogant. I'm not sure yet whether I'll find him entertaining or not. I may find him funny or I may end up disliking him.

The one thing I REALLY, REALLY liked, was that Donald Trump didn't say over and over how wealthy and wonderful he was. I wondered whether he would drop that stupid hand mannerism of his (hit the table, fire the 'gun') when he fired celebrities and he did. Oddly enough, it made me respect him even less (if that's possible). Apparently, he's only tough and rude to those he considers his inferiors.

I think they were idiots to deviate from the original premise. They ought to go back to the Season 1 format and remember that it was what made the show popular. They needed some minor tweaks, like formal education requirements. They chose contestants with no college degrees and pitted them against contestants from Harvard. Trump said one was a better prospect simply because he held the Harvard degree. If so, then choose only candidates with Ivy League degrees in the first place. There's no point in having the ones without the degree if it's already been decided that they can't win. And don't condemn behavior as 'sneaky' one week and praise the exact same behavior the next week as 'resourceful'.

Season One had a few flaws but the basic premise was much better than the celebrity format. Anything was better than bringing a New York themed show to California and making the losing team sleep in a tent. The 'Survivor Meets the Apprentice' was a stupid idea. This 'Celebrity' idea isn't much better. Really, who cares which celebrity wins or which charity gets the money? I'd call the candidates has beens except I don't know who most of them ever were!

IMHO Omarosa should have been fired for nixing the celebrity angle. But, Trump is trying to keep the tension going therefore someone else had to fall under the bus. Don't worry it wll not take long for all her team mates to discover her personality.

I think the funny part will happen when the celebrities have to do real work. Remember some of the tasks that the other apprentice teams had to accomplish? There were times that they had to physically work hard. Somehow, I can not see some of these people who have people doing menial tasks. Do you think the celebs will "rent" go-fers?

I'm going to give it another chance tonight. I guess it can be assumed that Gene Simmons won't win if Ivanka doesn't like him.

Yeah, I find Simmons absolutely repulsive as a human being. He just makes my skin crawl.
