I used to have one that said PRETENDER after the Jackson Browne song in the late 70's, but then that show The Pretender came out in the late 90's and people thought it was that.

Learned something funny this week. My neighbor behind us passed away this week. He has owned two cars since living there. Both had Jason on the front of the car. We always greeted him by the name Jason. Now we found out his name was Sam. He had a son that passed away before he moved to our area. We guess that his son name was Jason but not sure.

I meant to add in the original post that my brother in law owned a Porsche and had the tag "TURTTLE" and then my husband purchased it from his brother and had "ondedge" and when we sold it my husband's mother purchased the Porsche she put "MYTURN". We got a kick out it seeing how she was the last of the family to own the car. )

We don't but I have seen some really cute ones.
We travel a lot so we are on the expressways a lot and I think I will now start writing them down.
My memory just ain't what it used to be!
We have a Florida trip and a California trip ( from Kentucky) planned in the next couple of months and if I do remember to write them down, I'll report back with them after we get home.

We used to have OSU1 on our plates, but everybody thought it stood for Oklahoma State University so we ditched it....Now we have purple heart plates on both vehicles since they are both in Dh's name.....

Mine is ILUVLEP. My favourite group is Def Leppard so when I got my car I decided I wanted a vanity plate and that's what I got.

My plate is DABEARS ....... for the SNL skit Da Bears, Da Bulls....since we live in DE it was easy to get. But I am sure if we lived in Illinois I would never been able to get it. What I hate most about my vanity tag, is people are always asking DH about the Bears.....he is a Steelers fan. I'm the Bears fan, not him!!! I guess people are so close minded they wouldn't think a girl would want a football license plate.

Mine used to read "CHER" (my name), but my friend was following me one day and said, why does your plate say "see her". I guess it is all in how you read the plate.

Mine says NOW MAG because I work for the new glossy magazine in Findlay Oh called Findlay NOW magazine. Folks outside of Findlay probably have no idea what is means.
