First of all - I SINCERLY apologize for implying who neg-rep'd me - I was wrong. I never should have implied or mentioned who it was.

Secondly - The post you neg'd me on was this -

I would write a letter to the principal regarding how the teacher handled the issue. State the facts exactly as the Vice-Principal stated them to you. If you let it slide she may be inclided to repeat her actions. (Which, if your son goes to school with other GI Brats (no-disrespect intended) she may be able to handle the situation better if, God forbid, it comes up again) This way, you will feel better getting it off your chest and the principal and teacher will have to respond. Plus a copy of the letter will go into her personnel file."

I honestly do not think there was anything improper or unprofessional about the comment. When you neg'd me I was hurt (yea, I know I over-reacted - I have a thin skin) - I did not mention you or anyone else in the comment above - you were NOT the only one who I thought posted a thoughtless remark.

Thirdly - Regarding all the "newbies" of that night. I was not one of them. I know several people think it was me but I stayed logged in (dnj51) all night - I do not have any alternate egos or log-ins. It's just me. Honestly, if I have something to say, you know by now, I'll say it! When I last posted I said I was done and I was but I still see the stress going on and I would hope it could stop.

I was wrong - I apologize. You absolutely have every right to make any comment you would like. I respect that.

And to the other members drawn into this fiasco I apologize to you also. Please, can we bury the hatchet all around and get back to normal around here?

The only comment I would like to make is that I accept your apolgy and I'm sorry that you were hurt.

When I read your remark, I assumed that it was directed at me and me alone since it appeared that everyone else in the thread was in complete agreement. In retrospect, it would have been much better if I had simply let the negs and insults go and not responded in any way. I also should have taken greater care to phrase my post in that thread in a more thoughtful manner in the first place. I have a thick skin and I should take the time to phrase my posts more considerately for those who don't.

I'm sorry, too and I think it's a good idea to bury the hatchet and go back to the normal My Coupons routine!
