I'd like to see my best friend Leah who lives up in the Philly area. She's my daughter's godmother as well. We met at work back in 1983 and have been friends ever since. Since I moved away about ten years ago, I've only seen her about three times. Her kids are little and her one son has Downs so it's very hard for her to leave him to fly down here to see me. I'm hoping that I can plan a trip up there to see her soon...We talk often on the phone, but I miss her! ~Lisa

I dream to escape!

My friend April. We worked together everynight on the 11-7 shift in a small post op unit. We would have between 1-7 pts. a night. I am the RN and she was the Nursing Assist. She is beautiful AND so NICE. At first I was sure I would have to hate her because she is model pretty but she has4 kids, so do I. We were like separated sisters. When you have only 1 or 2 patients who just want their pain med and to sleep, that gives you a lot of time to talk, do crafts and just get to know someone. We conneced like I have never done before. (The nurse manager knows what we do at work as I send her cards that I make!!)

She moved to Alaska 2 years ago. We talk a lot and e-mail all the time but it isn't the same. I am going to take my youngest DD and go visit her in August. This is the trip of a lifetime for me. My DH planned it all and I am shocked!! I can't wait.

My husband, shift work and 14 hr days dont make for seeing each other often

Def. my best friend Rhonda. She lives in GA and I thought that we were going to live there forever and have our families grow old together. We ended up having to move out of state because of my hubby's job. We really were like two peas in a pod and had so much similar in our lives that we just clicked.

I think that I am going to plan a girls weekend or maybe she can come up for my graduation in May. :

My parents. They retired to Arkansas and we only see them twice a year. They come here for Christmas (couldn't this year b/c Dad had open heart surgery in Oct) and we go out and visit them in the summer.

I would have to say my youngest grandson.
My granddaughter is almost 21 and has moved 4 states away. I do miss her but she has her own life now and doesn't need her Nanny around all of the time!
We take my older grandson on a vacation every year so we do see him a lot. He is a teen ager so he needs to grow up more before I'd want to be around him too much! LOL!
So I would choose the little guy, he just turned five and is a little character and so much fun!
He only lives an hour and a half away but with gas so high now we don't get to visit as much as we'd like.

Definitely my best friend Anne. She's in PA and I'm in ME. We usually go home to visit every other year and unfortunately we only spend a few hours together; although it's like we we're never apart we are together.
