What type of jewelry do you have the most of...or prefer? Gold or silver?

I'd have to say that most of my earrings, rings, etc. are gold. My daughter and Mom both prefer silver though. ~Lisa

I do not wear a lot of jewelry, in fact rarely wear earrings. I do prefer gold, but my wedding ring is a vintage platinum diamond ring. If I could choose any, it would probably be white gold.

It depends on the piece. I like white gold best. However, some things just look nicer with yellow gold. I love sterling silver too.

I wear yellow gold. I too have a yellow gold wedding band that I do not plan on taking off so I usually make the jewelry to it. Also, I just think that yellow gold seems to have more warmth to it then white gold.

I prefer white gold or platinum. I don't wear a lot of jewelry. I wear moisanite earrings (look exactly like diamonds) with a platinum setting, a silver plated watch, a white gold necklace and my wedding ring is yellow gold and I love it

I have equal amounts of both gold and silver, but I think I prefer silver. Actually I go back and forth, sometimes preferring gold and other times silver, but I think I would pick the look of silver if i had to choose.

Over the years, I have bought alot of gold, but in the past 5 years I have alot of white gold or platinum. My wedding ring is platinum with a 2 cr diamond and my bands (2) are platinum with diamonds.... I prefer platinum now, I don't really know why. My earrings are white gold also.

I like both. My wedding rings are gold along with most of my other rings. Necklaces, all depends on what I want to wear. Earrings....can't wear sliver for too long since they bother my ears.

I like silver and sterling silver too. To me silver seems sparklier

I wear both, though rarely together. I like gold if I'm wearing earth tones and silver for dark colors.

pink gold and regular old yellow. i am allergic to silver.

Well here's a different twist to silver/gold poser:
DS's fiance has a nickel allergy and has to wear either platinum or some kinda paladium alloy. This is not just a ploy on her part for expensive jewelery, she is one of the lowest maintenance and least materialistic women I've ever met.
She can wear sterling silver, but only sterling, no alloys. She has, and wears, very little jewelery because of her allergy, just never developed a taste for bling as a teen and young women due to the prohibitive costs.
Now her future mil, on the other hand, was also like her when younger, but now I like as much bling as possible w/out being tacky, even if it's fake ;-) Or is that an oxymoron? ;-)

Silver, because it seems lighter, and I can afford it. I make jewelry, and silver's expensive enough, but not prohibitive.
