For me...it was "Harriet the Spy" I still have my tattered paperback copy. DH keeps telling me to get rid of it and I refuse!

For me its a tie between Little Women and Love Comes Softly, once I read those I didn't want to stop!

I loved the Little House series. Judy Blume books were also great. My favorite was sStarring Sally J. Freedman as Herself. As an adult, my favorite book is Forever Amber. I mostly read mysteries and love the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich and the the Kinsey Milhone series by Sue Grafton. I also love British chick lit.

I think the Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys books were the ones I remember having to have! My grandma and I would go ot yard sales on the weekend and I remember looking for those. I did love the Laura Ingalls books and Judy Blume too, ahhhhhhh what memories!

Laura Ingalls was definately up there at the top!! She was born in Wisconsin like me, so I thought that was really cool back then too.

I used to read all the time and I was a major tomboy outside too. I still read all the time. I wish I were still physically as active!

The Lord of the Rings had me hooked at age 10. I read and re-read them countless times, and even boycotted the movie for fear of "them" ruining it. I read other fantasy books before then, but that was the biggie.

When I was in elementary school it was The Hardy Boys and Nance Drew. I've read all of them and still have them at my moms house. I would read like 3 a week and every Sunday we would head to the mall to get more. Always kept a list with all the numbers of the ones I had so I wouldn't get any duplicates. I also have most of the Stephen King books too.

Add me to the list of Judy Blume fans. I loved the Fudge books!
Also when I was in junior high the Sweet Valley High books were popular and I totally got into those as well.
It was always a good day when my mom took me to the book store to get the next few books in the series and the times they had special vacation books, well I was over the moon.
