We're in Texas and haven't received any forms in the mail about summer camp yet. I haven't checked online, though. My daughter went to residential camp for 6 days last summer. She had fun but said 6 days was too long for her. LOL She was 9yo and it was her first time camping there. There weren't any day camp dates that worked with our schedule last summer...she might have enjoyed that more for her first time. peapie |

Our camp booklet came right after Jan. 1. Call your local Girl Scout Council and ask. As far as paying for camp with cookie sales, here the girls start earning "product sales vouchers" at 200 boxes sold ($5 certificate for every 50 boxes sold above 200 boxes). The vouchers can be used at the Council Store or to pay for events such as camp, Service Unit events or troop outings. Again, call your local Girl Scout Council if you're not sure how to use them as your leader may not know. |
