Cool What was the last dream you remembered upon waking???

I don't usually remember my dreams, but had a funky one the other night where I was trapped in a building with my kids, going from floor to floor searching for a non-existent door. Bizarro.

Do you have dreams you remember on a regular basis? Recurring dreams? I only seem to remember weird or scary ones.

In lots of my dreams I am in a large building with lots of floors and stairs and elevators.
Some of the stairs and elevators don't go to the floors that I want to get to and I have to start over.
When I finally get out, I cannot find my car!

Or I am driving on roads that get really weird.
They are perfectly fine and then all of a sudden they are on very narrow mountain roads with drop offs on one side and a tall hill on the other. Way too narrow for any car to drive on.
Or they just end and drop off into nowhere.

There are more, but that's enough for now!

The other night I had a really weird one.
I dreamed I was sleeping on the floor at my friends house. (Mind you , I am 41 and don't do sleepovers much anymore. ) She had gotten a ferret and in the middle of the night it decided to sleep on my face and freaked me out. Her DDs had 2 guinea pigs that they did not keep in a cage, so they pooped all over the carpet. I kept walking in the poop pellets. I told her I was surprised she would let them do that because ever since she got her new carpet, she won't even let us walk on it with shoes on! (yes that was all part of the dream, she doesn't own a ferret or guinea pigs!)

I saw her the next day and we both had a huge laugh over my dream. I started by asking if she was planning on getting a ferret. She really does have new carpet that she doesn't let us walk on with shoes.

I used to have a recurring dream that I would be waiting for the school bus and before the bus came a gorilla would come down the street and chase me. I still had it even after I was out of school. I still have dreams that I am in high school and forgot where my classes are, or where my locker is. Sometimes I am missing clothes too. (remember, I am 41)

I have always had very vivid dreams.

I dreamt I saw what I thought was a garter snake, until I noticed it had an arrow-shaped head. I found a small shovel, knocked it off a stone wall, then had to attack it again as it was coming after me. Creepy, especially since I didn't like snakes to begin with.

I don't think I have dreams, If I do then I don't remember them. Now that is weird, maybe I am so exhausted at night to even dream?? Is that possible?

In my last dream, my husband had high cholesterol and a frayed seam in his shirt. I told him that I heard about a medication that would fix both problems!

In my dream I was at a movie theater and I saw Keanu Reeves sitting a few rows behind me. I convinced the person sitting next to him to switch seats with me so I could sit by him. Then I woke up! When I told my co-worker , she said it sounded like something I would do.

Sure. You're probably still dreaming but you won't remember a dream if you're in a deeper state of sleep. i never remember dreaming if I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow. On the flip side, if the temperature is too hot while I'm sleeping, it seems to give me bad dreams. Go figure.

I woke up the other night dying laughing. My husband sat up and looked at me, "What kind of a nut case wakes up laughing?" I could only remember that a friend of ours had something funny although I could not remember what. I still could not stop laughing even when I was awake. My husband went back to sleep mumbling, "nutcase".

This morning I had the best dream. I was sitting in the closet doorway cleaning the closet and I felt a nudge in my back. When I turned around my dog was there. She let me pick her up and kiss her and love on her. When I set her back down she disappeared. I woke up in tears. The dog was my beloved Bogey dog that I had for 18 years and had to put her down last year in July as she was blind and deaf. She was hurting herself falling down and walking into walls. It just about killed me to put her down and I have prayed over and over for her to let me know she wasn't angry with me for having to do that and that she was safe and happy. I hope that my dream means she is. I am tearing up as I write this. She was definately my baby for many years.

I also have the dream that I am standing in front of my school and there is a ton of stairs for me to climb. After I get in the school I keep going to the wrong classrooms and keep having to go up level after level of stairs to get to the right classroom and I cannot ever seem to remember my locker combination either. That dream must mean something since so many of us have one like it. I always wake up so tired after the school dream.

I dreamed that one of my friends and I had our name listed in the local newspaper under the DUI arrests...Yikes! Scary... Good thing I don't drink and drive! I must admit, I had done that in my 20's...I'm so thankful that I didn't hurt anyone...I look back and think about some of the stupid things we did when we were young...It's a miracle we're alive! ~Lisa

I had a creepy one the other night.

I have a friend (well, we used to be really good friends attached at the hip type during our younger years in high school). Anyway, we stopped being friends after she lied to me about having an affair with my cousin's husband. She broke up my cousin's marriage and married the guy. (She was married at the time, too, and had two small children). We'll still say hi and talk to each other if we see each other somewhere.

So about a year ago I dreamed she was walking down our driveway in her nightgown and I was out on the porch. She just stopped and stared at me for a while and then turned around and walked away.

Then a few nights ago, I had kind of the same dream except this time I was in my kitchen and she appeared in a nightgrown just standing and staring at me again. I looked at her and she disappeared and appeared at the other door of my kitchen.

Then I woke up. I'm getting chills just typing this! Wonder what it means?

The last dream I remember was very weird. I was helping my boyfriend take custody of his child. We grabbed the child (may have been 2) and a few things. We ran to the house next door for more stuff. As we were leaving his family was going home to the first house and saw us. The person ran inside and yelled they taking the baby. We ran like the devil for 2 blocks to the car. We took the time to settle the child and took off. The police stopped us (they had been called about a kidnapping) and we showed them the court papers that he had custody. We were heading to the Police station to prove the custody when we were stopped. We went with the police office to the station. That is where I woke up.

I was so upset the next day because I was running without pain, effort and I was able to breathe. Right now I am so sick that I couldn’t run from a burning building to save my life.

I seem to remember stupid dreams. Really, really stupid dreams. Some examples:

-My boss at the time was my college professor and he assigned me the topic of my senior thesis. The topic? TUNA CASSEROLE. I had to do a research paper on tuna casserole. I wound up finding a book on the history of tuna casserole and writing the paper-jerky boss/professor had to give me an A.
-I was being chased by the mob because they wanted a PEZ DISPENSER I had. It was very rare and worth a lot of money but I never could see what it actually looked like in the dream.

The most recent dream I can remember was from last week. I work at Target and we were just getting over the last of the Christmas clearance and getting the new displays put up. I had a dream that TRUCKLOADS of clearance showed up out of the blue and there were giant displays of it all over the store. There were hoards of women there all going crazy over the junk. This one woman had a dolly she loaded up with stuff and started running with it and she slammed right into the wall. She was bleeding all over and when the mgr tried to help her she started screaming that she didn't want to go to the hospital because someone else would get her clearance deals.
Ok, that last one was more of nightmare........

dollydeal...I cannot stop laughing!! But I definitely have to keep a closer eye on our giant hamster!

Waking up laughing is one my d/h has done, but he's an insane sleeper (which probably doesn't comfort you!).
One night he was tossing & turning and mumbling. He'd do it a bit, then quiet down, then do it again. Suddenly he threw his right leg up in the air and over his left one and threw himself right out of bed! Just got back up, crawled in bed, and went back to sleep.
I laughed so hard I couldn't get back to sleep! Everytime I'd start to drift off, I'd picture it again and burst into laughter. I didn't think he'd remember the next morning, so I asked and after thinking about it he told me was dreaming he was in some kind of martial arts fight and had to defend himself.

Strange what our minds do while we sleep.

My DH never has dreams and it drives him crazy because mine are so bizzare and he wants to dream too.
But....
He just quit caffeine and he told me that now he is dreaming! I wonder if there is a link? He used to drink over a pot a day. He is a truck driver.
