Anyone watch Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, etc?

I really enjoy Ghost Hunters and now Ghost Hunters International (SCIFI) but I'm unimpressed with Paranormal State (A&E). Anyone else like these type shows and are there other shows like that that I'm missing?

I love Ghost Hunters, don't care for Paranormal State. Another good one is A Haunting on Discovery channel

I go to bed watching paranormal state, and have to turn the channel when all the spooky music comes on, or I get real close to my hubby, that crap just totally freaks me out!... Mary, you are crazy! My hubby watches another one on directv, I will have to ask him, he is real big in the supernatural and UFO's.

Thanks for the heads-up on A Haunting NYmom, I'll check into it - and Karrie, let me know what hubby watches. I'm recording GHI now so I can watch it later and zip through the commercials.

I like Rescue Mediums, which is two British women, who go to homes, mostly in southern Ontario, and send ghosts on their merry way, and then drink. Not too scary, and quite charming. There's also Ghostly Encounters, which is also Canadian, and has a polite host introducing two people per episode, who describe the experiences they've had. It has a little bit of reenactment, but nothing awful, and no live ghost stuff. Both are on WeTv, and I think they're less cheesy than other ghosty shows. My mother used to tape them and send them to me before they were broadcast in the US.

If you want to read instead, ghosts.org has a story archive that goes back about 15 years.

I watch almost all of the shows you guys mentioned. I love those kind of shows. For some reason Paranormal State kinda seems fake somehow to me though. But, I still watch it.

Oh I love Paranormal State. It is my new favorite show. I have not heard of the other ones but might have to check into them. But I think Paranormal State is great.

Me too!! I've watched 2 episodes and I usually don't get scared, but I had to go get my dog to sit beside me. (Hubby at work DS refuses to watch with me) The scary part is that they are supposed to be true stories.
