Motorola RAZR V3 cell phone - tell me what you know!

I'm looking to upgrade and this phone is free after rebate - any words of advice, wisdom, experience on this particular phone? All I need is a phone so I don't care about any other features. And I definitely want a flip phone.

My daughter has had one for a year and loves it. I have the free upgrade to it, too, and am planning to do it. Do you have to do the free upgrade online? I'm concerned about the online versus instore upgrade?!

I am upgrading through Cingular/AT & T website - through my current cell phone plan/account. After so long, it shows you are eligible for equipment upgrade.

Yep - that's exactly what I have, I guess I'm just unsure about doing it online versus face-to-face. Do they mail you the phone? Do the cancel your existing phones service? I don't get how it works...but to answr your question, after watching my daughter with her Razor for a year - I want that phone. She loves it and it's awesome!

I have always done it online, better deals. Yes they mail you the phone, usually get in 48 hours. you can cancel or renew your service. Its very easy.

I've had the V3 for about a year and a half. I like it. I don't LOVE it. I don't like the flat buttons - it's hard to text (I'm not a big texter, thought). I also don't like that you can't see the screen when you are outside on a sunny day. I don't think that's a RAZR problem exclusivley, though. I like the size, though. For free, it's excellent.

Look on the Amazon reviews for lots more info.
