I Have A New Weakness

My sister sent me a basket of nostalgic candy for Christmas. Mary Janes, SlapSticks, and so many other wonderful treats that when it ran out my husband and I went to the local candy store and stocked up.

I hope eating healthy the rest of the time makes up for the caramels, taffies, chocolates, etc. LOL

We have three candy stores and I think if I alternate between the three we can keep up the tasty treats.

My favorites are the SlapSticks and various caramel candies.

What's your favorite candy weakness?

Kits - those little packages of 4 square caramels you used to get for a penny a piece.

I don't eat much candy but when I breakdown I have a grape, rasberry,or cherry Starburst.I keep a jar filled on the table that will usually last a couple years. Now if you stick a MaryJane in my face I will have to snatch that out of your hand too. Those are my second favorite.

I remember those....loved them and haven't had one in so long. Remember the BB bats(I think that's the right name)suckers, tasted like the kits to me but they were much bigger and of course on a stick. I loved the strawberry and chocolate kits.

I haven't been eating candy lately and really don't have a favorite.

I've never heard of some of the candies you like OP LOL

I don't eat a lot of candy. If I do, it's one square of Ghirardelli Chocolate with Mint or with Caramel. I can't handle more than one square...too rich.

I do like Starburst, Skittles adn Sour Patch Kids as well as Trolli Gummy Bears (only that brand...others just don't taste right LOL) but I maybe have one of these once a year...

Sexysmurf if you google "nostalgic candy" or the names you can see them. I forgot the mention Banana Splits they taste really banana-y!

Hey neighbor!

Do you ever get to the Jelly Belly factory store in Kenosha?

They have really good values there and you can get that stuff so cheap!

To answer the question:
Chick O Stick
Peanut Butter Bar
Sour gummi anything
Jelly Belly Candies
Too many and I shouldn't be thinking about this when I want to lose weight! I had to go over the candy dish just now and get the first two on my list! arrrtgh!

You don't eat so much freaking candy that you lose your figure. You pop a caramel in your mouth once or twice a day as you are running from the car to the place two blocks away in the freezing snow. Or as you relax in your pajamas after a long hard day. Or just to grab a moment of innocent pleasure in a world gone mad.

My man has been around for almost 20 yrs if a man leaves because I gain weight then he is not my man he is some superficial idiot who doesn't care about me. Heck my man better be popping a few candies once in a while too!!!
