What you can do is take the dropper and fill it with water and drop out 10 drops - see where the water level is - if it's half way, give yourself 1/2 a dropper full - if it only has 1/4 left give yourself 3/4 of a dropper - and so on. Also, when you give yourself the drops make sure your head is flat (laying down) and you stay there for at least 5 minutes to give the drops time to work their way down the ear canal - then do the other ear. Good luck! If all else fails - there is the dog. LOL Last edited by dnj51; 02-06-2008 at 11:44 AM. |

Thanks for the idea! Yea I grew up with ear infections but always had mom there I read where another person here has a son with one. Must be something going around because I haven't had one in leterally years.I try to stay flat for as long as I can. The doc said the gunk is so bad that he can't even see the eardrum so I have to "flush" my ear with water before each time. Very hard alone..lol! The staying flat part is a little difficult because I have back issues and can't stand for more than a few minutes. I have to walk sideways and lay on the couch..LOL!! Thanks again |
