Seasonal Decor?

I was just wondering what type decorations yall have out right now. I am starting to lean toward getting out the Easter stuff, but is it too early? Just curious....

Well there are still people around here that have Christmas lights up. I think it is too early for Easter but it is your home you have to look at it and if it is what you enjoy why not?? Do what you want.

Yeah I was going to say I passed by a house on Monday that had the blow up Frosty and a blow up Christmas tree in the yard. Least their not the early birds who put out a holiday way before it actually gets here heheh

Currently I have Valentines stuff up, just a few things. With Easter being in March this year I might forgo the St. Patrick's decor and put up Easter stuff after next week.

We still have a lot of people who have Christmas stuff up here too! I have Valentine's stuff up now, and once that passes we'll move on to Easter, I might put a few St. Patty's Day things out, but not many....If your not real big on Valentine's Day, and you really enjoy your Easter Decorations, then go for it! It's all about what you and your family like are happy having around!

We have Valentine's Day decorations up and will follow that with something (not sure what -- frogs maybe??) to celebrate Leap Day. It's too early for Easter decorations in my opinion -- I like to take one holiday at a time.

I don't put anything up during these holidays. Maybe a winter wreath on the front door but it has been so windy here I took that down 2 weeks ago and have not put anything back up. I don't really get into decorating for the holidays much.

Gosh, I don't even have any Valentines!! Maybe I can get some clearance after the day. I guess it is early for Easter, this time of year is just weird for me! Still cold, but yet I'm over the winter look. I'm starting to get the cabin fever, ready to get rid of stuff and spruce up.

I still have all my snowmen out around the house... Eventually I may get them put away, and get out some Easter stuff. Or I may just skip the Easter stuff. Depends on when I get snowmen down.

I don't have any holiday decor out at this time. I will wait until at least 2 weeks before Easter to put out a few Easter decorations.

The only Holidays I decorate for are Christmas, Halloween and Easter.

This year is tricky, since Easter comes in March.

I do have my Valentine decorations up, but those will be down next week. St. Patrick's Day comes after that, and we are Irish, so that's a given. But the collision of SPD and Easter is going to be tricky...

And I'm still finding stray Christmas stuff out - my bathroom was guilty of that...

I just change the color of the candles throughout the house. Right now they are all red and white. Next month I will go straight for the pastels and forgo the green (we are not Irish).

I am a slacker -- just got my Valentine's Decorations out yesterday. I ordered the cutest conversation hearts from Wonderful Graffiti. It is candy that won't go to your hips! LOL They are so fun Wonderful Graffiti I ordered the "sweet sayings" so I wouldn't have to hear my kids say "eeeew grosss".

If I am lucky, the hubby will add to the decor with some fresh flowers. But, I told him not to spend too much $$$.

I have Valentine's Day stuff up -- we don't have much, but a few things. I'll probably leave it up until sometime next week and then put up St. Patty's Day (only a few things for that too) and the Easter decor that is more 'spring' than Easter. The bunnies and the egg decorations will go up in early March.

As others have said, it's tricky this year since Easter is early. Normally, I put the St. Patty's up right after Valentines and then the Easter up right after St. Patty's.

I am such a procrastinator! I made this post a while ago, and still don't have my Easter stuff up! And I don't even decorate for St. Patricks! I have got to get better.

Considering it's Feb and tends to run cold and snowy weather-wise, I've still got generic mid-winter decorations up. St. Pat's is a non-holiday for me.
I never get out spring decorations till March.
For Jan. and Feb. I always use faux Red berries, holly & ivy rather than any specific Holiday decoration.
I also have some Lenox skater figurines on the bookcase.
Won't change it till March when it becomes doubtful that the temp will go down to zero again.
Sure we tend to get snow storms in March , big ones some years, but not zero or below temps.
so March is when I change decorations.
