| Bush ready to sign the stimulus package
Bush ready to sign economic aid package Bush ready to sign economic aid package - Yahoo! News I am just wondering if you are married but file separately what will the amount be? we file separately because each of us has children from different marriages and it seems we get back more money that way. I do the taxes a few different ways, together and separate. and see which way we get the most money.

I would think it would equal out to the same amount, but it would come in seperate checks, if you filed seperately. That's what I would think but don't know for sure Then if you have children, whoever claimed the children would get that amount on their check.
