help me find this binder

My daughter is 9 and has some learning disabilities. She really struggles with organization, and this year she is in a class that switches rooms midway through the day. We have tried several different things to make the switch easy and organized for her but it just isn't working. After speaking with her teacher we think we have an idea. I remember as a kid we had these binders that were canvas and zippered closed. They had some pockets and slots for pencils. I would like to get her a binder like this but can't seem to find anythign like it online...maybe I just don't know what to search for. It needs to be thick - like 3" or bigger to accomodate her "planner" notebook and a couple folders, and some pencils and crayons. I want it to zip closed that way if she doesn't get everything in there quickly she can close it and nothing will fall out. Anyone know what I am talking about and where to get one?
Thanks,
Lanicia

We bought something similar to that at Walmart when they had all the school supplies out. My son is in 8th grade and we actually bought two for him.

They are working very well and he is not having problems with forgetting stuff.

A zippered Trapper Keeper.

Some have zippered pencil pouches on the front outside but we used a special pencil pouch on the inside that hooked in with three ring binder holes.

Good Luck,
X

A couple of months ago I had to go out and buy DS another one of these binders. My Walmart did not have them, so we had to get them at Office Depot.

Wow. That is nice. And with free shipping.

I might get one too. I like how you can customize the front of it. My DS would love this. Anything to help keep him organized is a good thing!!

Thanks Ana21!
