Arrow ALL Starbucks will close on Feb 26th

I just read that all Starbucks are closing for 3 hours for emergency re-traiing.

I am not a Starbucks person. I have gone a couple of time with a Starbuckaholic friend of mine, but not a regular.

Is the service there so bad they really need EMERGENCY re-training?? How are they always busy in all their bazillion stores if the service is so bad?

I can think of several companies who totally need this "Emergency Re-Training"!
LOL

Oh man... You had me for a minute there! From your title, I thought Starbucks was closing for good! I quick went into see how my buddy on MySpace (who owns a franchise!) was handling it and she made not mention of it. I then clicked on your link and saw the details!

Thanks for a laugh. I agree, that's a bit overboard.

Ok, I'll admit it, your title made my heart stop for a whole minute........

I don't go to Starbucks to often, but it's one of my favorite "me" treats, I was thinking as busy as I always see them how could they be closing! LOL!

I don't understand the need to close for three hours nationwide for training, to me it's seem more a show, then anything, most places to training before, after and even during business hours if there is a need for it...

There may be a possibility that all stores are getting a new computer system or something and the employees need trained on the new system. That would make sense.

Sounds like a ploy for free publicity to me.

That is exactly what I thought.
FREE advertising!

I have seen it on the TV news several times now. It was also in our newspaper.

I must admit you had me concerned. I thought I was going to have to do without my vente cinnamon dulce latte. My favorite is the peppermint mocha latte but they are, unfortunately, seasonal.

The Peppermint Mocha Latte is my all time fav.....while it is served seasonally, they sell (at least mine does) the Peppermint Syrup and Mocha sauce for you to make these at home......and they are almost as good

Talking Starbucks closing HAHAHAHAHA

I must tell you all, I have never been to a star bucks. We have had terrible storms here today, I was feeling blahhhhhhh. I saw your post and laughed so hard tears were rolling down my face. My dogs think I have gone off the deep end. Emergency Re Training is the funniest thing I have heard in advertising yet. What a crazy ploy they have come up with. How do you plan an emergency?

Thanks for the laugh.

You might have to go to a Starbucks that's located in a Target. Only the company owned stores are closing so I'm sure that won't include the ones in Target.

Now if they would lower their prices when opening back up....THAT would be newsworthy!
