This is only from what we saw on TV....there are quite a few in the top 24 that were not really highlighted on the show. I'll probably revamp my list after next week. On a separate note, I'm so bummed that Josiah did not make it.

I missed the whole Josiah story - only saw him dismiss the band and then not do too well. What happened with him previously?

If I remember right, he dropped out of school and moved out of his house. He's been living in his car for a while. I think someone will *find* him after all this. On another note, he's way too emotional....cries all the time....really has to get ahold of his emotions if he's going to make it. Don't flame me, though, I do realize he's young and has been through a lot. It's probably been a long bumpy road for him.

Is anyone else bummed that they didn't put the geeky guy through? I totally agree with Simon that he would have had a good following. I love his quirkiness - reminds me of Joan Cusack.

Yes, I think he was better than the one they put through. It was nice how Simon told him that it wasn't unanimous and that he would have put him through.

I agree, I liked him and thought he would have been a great addition!

I didn't think Josiah was really that good. And I think he 'thought' he was better than he really was. For him to dismiss the band and go on without them and then totally blow it, I think he sealed his own fate.

As far as the other guy with the glasses (the nerdy looking one), I thought he had a good voice but it wasn't as good as some of the others. He had a pitch tone problem in some places.

I love the girl who hasn't seen an R-rated movie!! I can't remember her name. She sang first with the keyboard the other night. I'd really like to see her go far. I like the rocker guy, too. One of the guys that got thru, I don't think I ever saw him before!!

IMO he dismissed the band to sing acapella because he hadn't rehearsed with the band much if at all. I think he figured he had a better chance to sing it by himself rather than sing unrehearsed with the band.

I1m so mixed between American Ideal and The big Brother house. I hate that they are on on the same night. I tried to switch it back and forth during commercials but it seems they both went to commercial at the same time. Bummed.

The kids and I have been watching, but I haven't really gotten any favorites yet......They really kept (in my hestimation) about 1/4 of those who made it through to limited air time, so I haven't seen enough of them all to really want someone to win....

I'm another one who is not liking that Big Brother and American Idol are sharing nights and time slots, but it's one time I'm super thankful for my DVR.
