Need some new tunes..........

I finally retreived my Mp3 Players from the kids and I haven't updated my music in a while, so I'm looking for some suggestions.....what songs are you currently listening too?

I love a wide range music, so I'm open to pretty much anything

I'm not sure how old you are mabear, but I've always loved tunes from the 80's...It brings back memories of the good old days when I used to go out with my friends after work, on trips, etc. How about a little Flock of Seagulls, Cyndi Lauper, or Pet Shop Boys? LOL ~Lisa

Try Pandora.com. You type in something you like, and it'll play something related, and then play other suggestions. You can thumbs-up or thumbs-down the suggestions. Sign up, which is free, and you can make multiple 'stations'. Mine just gave me Jeannie C Riley, and shows up under m11 as user, if you're curious, but some of the selections are pretty diverse.

We just went and saw a cat named Joe Bonnamassa in concert and I picked up his CD. If you like electric blues this guy is great.
Also just picked up VanZant "My Kind of Country" they call it country but it sounds an awful lot like southern rock.

I'm boring. I have my entire CD collection on my ipod, but I spend 99.9 of my time listening to podcasts from NPR, CNN, etc.! Most of the music I do have is a cross between 80's and Alt Country.

anything and everything by 3 Days Grace. Chevelle is also awesome. Although I am an 80's child, I like today's alternative (is that word still used LOL) music as well as most everything else (excluding a lot of country). I do adore Toby Keith though...he has a lot of fun song like "how do you like me now?"...great to crank up and roll down he windows while you sing along...well, maybe not if you are my DH

I like perky, fun music. Some of the songs on my ipod are :

"I Could Get Used to This" - The Veronicas
"Wake Me Up Before You Go Go" - Wham
"I'm So In Love With You" - Eurasure
"I Get Knocked Down" - Chumbawumba
"Suddenly I See" - K.T. Tunstall
"Candyman" - Christina Aguilera (I also have "What A Girl Wants")
"Toxic" - Britney Spears
"Girlfriend" - Avril Lavigne
"One Week" - Barenaked Ladies
"Rock Me Gently" - Andy Kim (from the commercial, LOL)
"Summertime" - DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince
"MMM Bop" - Hanson

I have a bunch of other songs not listed. I hate depressing music. Most songs I listen to are perky and upbeat. Positive. I am a huge Radio Disney fan, LOL.

I just bought two new ones I really like.

The Way I Am by Ingrid Michaelson
Love Song by Sara Bareilles

I make notes whenever I hear a song I like so I can make sure and add it to my collection. I have everything from gospel to metal to rap to country. I'm also really having fun with some old Joan Jett songs ( Do You Wanna Touch Me is a favorite) right now.

Have fun with whatever you pick!

Renee
