I am not really a faithful watcher, I watched some of last year and then started this year mainly because there was nothing else on, but I wasn't really impressed by the guys tonight. There were a couple that were pretty good, but nobody jumped out and said STAR to me.

I liked the David Archuletta kid and maybe the last guy. Some of them are really boring - the chakeezie (sp?) was forgetable, and the gay kid (I was rooting for him) is way over the top gay. It's bordering on annoying now. Let's hope the girls do better.

That's exactly what I thought! I had a hard time sitting there for the whole 2 hours and if I didn't have coupons to cut I would have never made it!

I agree......But recently I have come to realize that I prefer female singers. I had never really noticed until DH was listening to my Ipod, he mentioned that all most all the songs are by girls. So I looked thru it and sure enough about 80% of all the songs on there are by female vocalist.

We watched last night, and I was so thankful for my Tivo........we fast forwarded through most of it.....No one really stands out yet. I do hope the girls do better, if not we might pick back up watching once they are down to the final 12.

I like that other young kid - the 17 year old one - I thought he was very good - and has a great personality!

We did watch but wasn't blown away, except the last guy was awesome. Also liked Luke who looks very much like Orlando Bloom. He sang a slow melody and Simon commented that it was forgettable.

We watched it later with DVR and I have to say that we really only watched the interviews and the comments from the judges. Between the too many commercials and the boring performances, I have to say that I hope that the girls are more impressive. Not impressed. Do like David A. though. He was good.
