This is a great board!

I am so moved by everyone's responses to haveyourcake.

Our board, while always interesting, can often include comments taken the wrong way, or said in a moment of anger, that end up sparking negativity.

However, in the thread started by haveyourcake about a potentially cheating spouse, I have only seen caring posts with helpful ideas and/or compassion for haveyourcake and her predicament. This is a loaded topic, and I'm so touched by everyone's different perspectives, but obvious unity in their wish to be helpful.

Every so often, a comment comes up that people on this board aren't part of anyone's "real" world. But at a time like this, I can't imagine having a better group of "real" friends than are here on our board.

Well said Devinmom! I often find myself amazed by the comfort that this group of friends provides. I know that I am glad to be here. I really do care about so many of these people that I don't even really know. It's a cool thing!

This is a great board!!

I love logging on and listening to other peoples' ideas and input. It's funny, but you do start caring about people that you've never even met in person. You realize that we are all the same in so many ways. We all have worries and cares -- medical problems, problems with money, weather, cars, children and spouses. We can all learn from each others life journeys.

This board is down right addicting!!!

ITA when I need to vent or just get some ideas on how to handle something, there's always someone here to listen. It's very comforting.
