Low VitB12 can cause balance issues and dementia........ but there are a lot of other side effects also. I suggest contact your Dr. , get some blood work and go from there. Here is a good site for info. Vitamin B12 Deficiency Anemia-Topic Overview

My father was diagnosed with Parkinson's by one doctor and went to another later and that one thought he didn't have Parkinson's and his symptoms were at least partially due to b12 deficiency.. I think he's getting that now but the doctor has said it IS Parkinson's too. He's not 60 yet and has balance, shaking and other stuff (most disturbing to me is he makes noises like "mhmm mhmm" a lot). As far as I know, so far it's all physical, nothing mental.
