The poster with the screen name Ohhgodd has a signature line that says
"Never grow a wishbone, daughter, where your backbone ought to be!"
and it struck me as such simple yet sage advise.

It also got me to thinking that sometimes words of wisdom have to be verbalized.

My question is this, What 3 pieces of advise would you offer to your daughter or any young lady?

Off the top of my head mine would be
1. Don't let other people do your thinking for you
2. There is a difference between taking care of yourself and being selfish
3. Moisterize.

My advice:

1. Start using face cream in your early 20's and keep good care of your skin every day.
2. Wear an SPF greater than 30
3. Go to College, get a degree. Any degree. Wait to have children until you have finished this degree.

1. If you need something done, learn how to do it yourself -- be resourceful!
2. Learn how to drive a stick shift
3. Learn how to use power tools
