Brenda I'm with you, send me some snow......I missing having a winter! We have been in the 70's and some day hit the 80's.......we usually get at least one good ice storm a year, and haven't even gotten that!

They predicted a huge ice storm for us but it wasn't as bad as they thought. However, last night when I got out of work at 11:30pm, I had to scrape ice off the car for 20 min and then it took me 1/2 hr to drive my 8 min drive home. UGH! I'm and starting to get tired of it. We had a really warm spring-like day the day before yesterday and it really got me in the mood for the next season!

I sure am. I just came back in from shoveling four inches of snow.

My picture is from our snowstorm last week.

I hate winter in the Midwest - it seems to drag on forever.

We've had to run our air a few times over the last few weeks too!

I am so sick of winter. We got hit with a snowstorm over the weekend and got 10 inches, today we got about two inches of snow, and now we are getting sleet and freezing rain. It is going to last all day, and the winds are kicking in and may cause power outages. Then, I just heard we are getting another round of heavy snow on Friday into Saturday. Several schools are closed because of the issue with the snow on the roof causing damage. A local Walmart distribution center had the roof collapse (luckily, no one was hurt). They have also said that only the major roads will get salted, because the towns have run out of salt for the roads. This has by far been one miserable winter in Maine! After putting up with such a harsh winter, I am hoping for a sunny and warm summer....

I am with those that say send some our way. It actually snowed here and it stuck this year. My DD's were thrilled. It was the first time my youngest saw actual snow on the ground. It was so much fun playing in it with them. My DH wants to go skiing somwhere so the girls can see some REAL snow. In a few months I will be on here complaining about the never ending heat.

We are in the 50's and flowers are blooming - too early for tulips, but the daffs are up. Don't despair, spring is on the way!

Our area can't decide what kind of weather to have. I'm in the DFW area in Texas and we go from cold and rainy to warm and sunny a few times over the course of a week. Just a couple of days ago there was a snow watch (I think some areas north of us got some). We barely had any flurries and then it was just rain. Today it's nice enough out that I took my son to the park after preschool.

Our weather here in Oklahoma has just been crazy. Snow flurries and ice last week, 75 degrees over the weekend, then snow flurries again Monday, 50mph winds and wildfires because it's so dry. We are already having tornado watches and warnings (Sunday night).

Sign me up for the SICK OF WINTER CLUB. If I never ever saw another snowflake it would tickle me pink.

WE got hit yesterday and through the night with rain, freezing rain, sleet, then about 6 inches of snow.
All the area schools were out today and who knows yet about tomorrow.
It's a good thing I don't really have to go anywhere today because my front door and overhead garage door are frozen closed. I did have to cancel my appointment and also my dgd's for today.
And heven only knows when the snow plows will ever come into my area. I won't be getting any mail untill they do.

COME ON SPRING!!!

Count me in to!

My son has a soccer tourney in Ohio this weekend, and we are waiting to see if it happens.
The weather looks like it may be really cold and possibly snowing. They said they will not make a decision until 2:00 Friday and we plan to be gone at 4:00 Friday! I guess I have to pack and maybe just end up un packing!

I love the snow!!! I wish all winters had this much snow! I only worry about people (like my son) driving in it to work. We are at the third highest all time snowfall this winter. So much for global warming! lol

Add me to the list of people who are sick of it! We've had almost 100 inches total. I hate driving in it. Took me about 90 minutes to come home from work the other day when it normally takes me about 40. I can't wait for spring.
