This is about a town that is afraid of change..


Fear of the inevitable,
Blindsight of insight,
Seeking out refuge
empty vesicle of night

Loathing diversity
Knowing only one
Stoic insanity
servers of the none

Asking for all
refusing to give
Crushing insanity
Afraid of the Dig

Little minds wonder
Without eyes to see
Closed up, boarded
nothing more to be

Oh about the town. It is just a town I live in, and everytime we get new business coming in, the ranks rise up out of the dirt to fight tooth and nail. then when it is over, they crawl back. Kind of like the ones who won't lift a finger to make things better, but are the first ones to moan and Bi**ch when things happen that could possibly make it better (like new business, revenue).

I guess, I am all for change (to a point, and within reason), and I feel like I am the Liberal minded one (when it comes to these folks), when I am really very conservative about growth and new business (TIF's, etc). Kind of frustrating. But that's small town politics for you!
