| BeccaRose -- how was opening night?
I read in one of the threads that your play, The Diary of Anne Frank, opened last night!? How did it go? Any surprises? Did the audience love it? You have all of us rooting for you!  I've always loved that story and imagine that a good play could really bring it to life and be quite touching.

Opening night was wonderful fun! We had some mess ups but nothing the audience noticed. MccartyJJ - - - No cameras during the performance but afterwards it is cool. We have had some local press but I do not have the photos. I will post when I get them. Thanks for everyone's support!!

Awesome to hear that all went well... opening night must be the hardest one. I wouldn't know... I've never had the guts to do anything on stage. It will be nice to see the photos when they go online. Have FUN! |

Well I just got back from the show... It was a wonderful show. It made me want to read the book again...there is so much that I have forgotten since I read it in high school! Becca...great job. We all really enjoyed it. |

]I played Mrs Van Daan. Opening weekend went well. We have 4 more shows, next weekend. The photograph that has surfaced is not the Peter that was in hiding (called Van Daan in the book but his last name was actually Van Pell). The Peter in the photo is a boy from school Anne wrote about often (Also, MccartyJJ and I are dear friends in real life and have been for years)
