can any of yall type from dictation? dont know why but im actually finding a lot of transcription jobs online since yesterday!

no no no these arent those places that make you pay to work for them, its actual companies that hire people to type from home.

go to MSN.com or any search engine and type "free typing lessons" or "free typing tutorials" in the search engine window (for anybody that dont know, heck i didnt know for a long time thats what the skinny white box at the very top is called)

Maybe they wanted the typing jobs emailed to them.

I am probably the only poor typist here.

trust me i aint the best typer in the world myself! i make a LOT of mistakes! looks like i only do 60 wpm

I'm kinda surprised that there's this kind of work readily available given technology advancements. One of my co-workers has a degenerative eye condition and he has a device that reads computer text for him as well as writes it from his dictation.

In any event, are there typing speed requirements for this kind of work - or is it simply by the job and so your speed dictates (no pun intended) the $/hour that you earn? Are there any quality requirements - spelling and grammar?

It's hard to tell you if it's okay to post the links if no one knows what they are.

If they don't break the rules of the forum, I don't see why not - this is without seeing them though.

It would be easier to post them and find out, then having to PM each individual member. If they're okay, then many could benefit from them.

I would be very, very surprised, though, if these are legitimate "jobs". I have done an exhaustive amount of research on this type of job and have yet to find anything that is legitimate.
